James Wallace Sandell

October 2, 1943 — October 27, 2026

Mr. Sandell was a private man who only recently found the peace and joy of knowing and appreciating his sons. Although the time they shared was short it was and is cherished. James did enjoy the peace and quiet of the country life. He also enjoyed feeding the wildlife that stayed close to the house. In his younger years Mr. Sandell served in the Texas National Guard for six years. He had worked for Sears Robuck in the drapery department. He eventually became the owner of the drapery department as his business. He sold that business and moved to Weimer Texas to look after his aging parents. He is proceeded in death by his parents Margarette and Mr. Grodhause. James leaves behind sons James Patrick Sandell and wife Patricia; John Christopher Sandell and wife Angie. Grandsons Eric and Kyle, granddaughter Channe' Hatcher and husband Brandon. Great grandchildren Jennifer, Corban and Lillian. REST IN PEACE

An Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
