Born on August 10, 1943, in the quaint town of Reynolds, Georgia, James was the beloved son of Mr. Wight T. and Mrs. Annie Mae Walker. He faced his final days with courage and grace, succumbing to a prolonged illness while surrounded by the love of his family.

His grandsons, Henry Arington III, Marguis Walker, and Demetrius Walker, were equally cherished, as were his two adored great-granddaughters, Anyana and Ariella.
