James Beaver, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 1, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on August 24, 1948, in Atlanta, James was the cherished son of the late James and Garnet Beaver, and he carried their legacy of kindness and integrity throughout his life. James was a man of remarkable strength and gentle spirit, whose life was a testament to his devotion to family and community. He was predeceased by his parents, his former wives Suzan Pike Beaver and Diane Howard Beaver, his brother William Beaver, and his niece Brittany Beaver. Despite these losses, James's heart remained full of love and warmth for those around him. He is survived by his loving children, who were his greatest pride: Lisa and Ty Burnworth of Bethlehem, James and Christy Beaver of Covington, and Angela Burke of Brunswick. James's legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy in his life. His loyal little companion, Mickey, will also miss his tender care. James is also lovingly remembered by his Aunt, Katheryn Beaver-Kellett , cousin Victoria Griffen of Pensacola, Fl. His sisters, Patricia Beaver of Buford and Carol with her husband Alan Lasky of Dacula , as well as his brother-in-law James Pike of Decatur. Each of them shared in his laughter and cherished the moments spent together. Known for his kind heart and unwavering dedication, James was a pillar of strength and wisdom to his family and friends. He had an innate ability to make everyone feel special, and his memory will forever remain a guiding light in the hearts of those who knew him. A memorial service to honor James's life will be held on July 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, located at 1215 Access Rd, Covington, GA 30014. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate a life well-lived. James Beaver's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to God, family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May his soul rest in peace.
