James was born on February 20, 1946, in the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington, to loving parents James and June Huspek. From a young age, James exhibited a zest for life that would carry him through many adventures and achievements. He was a beacon of strength and kindness, traits that endeared him to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Raised alongside his dear brother, Jary, and sister, Paula, James was a devoted family man. Though his beloved parents, brother, and sister predeceased him, the memories they created together remained close to his heart throughout his life.
James found the love of his life in Connie, his devoted wife of 35 years. Together, they crafted a beautiful life filled with joy, laughter, and mutual respect. Their enduring love was an inspiration to all who knew them. James and Connie's bond was a testament to their unwavering commitment to one another, a legacy that will live on in the hearts of those who witnessed their journey.
One of James's greatest joys was being a father to his daughter, Gretchen. He took immense pride in her accomplishments and cherished the special bond they shared. James was a guiding light in Gretchen's life, providing support, wisdom, and love at every turn. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will forever guide her path.
