Born on January 5, 1974, in Des Moines, Iowa, James lived a life filled with love, laughter, and purpose, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. James was the cherished son of Michael Davis and the late Sandra Olson Davis. He was nurtured in a household filled with warmth and kindness, values he carried throughout his life. James's resilience and strength were admired by many, especially during his final days. James was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Samantha, with whom he shared a bond that was as enduring as it was beautiful. Their marriage was a testament to mutual respect and unwavering support, built on a foundation of love that inspired all who knew them. A proud and dedicated father, James leaves behind his son Tyler, who was the light of his life. James was also a father figure to his late stepson, Dustin M. Ware, who he cherished deeply. His guidance and love will continue to influence Tyler and the family for generations to come. James's legacy extends to his seven beloved grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. His eyes would light up with stories of their accomplishments and antics, and he found great pleasure in their company. His nurturing spirit and playful heart made him the quintessential grandfather.
