James was the beloved son of the late James Daniels Jr. and Donna Miles Oxley. He was predeceased by his siblings Winston, Lewis, and Tracy. Despite the losses he endured, James always embodied resilience and strength, qualities that defined his life and inspired those around him. James leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Jennifer Daniels, with whom he married on June 13, 2004 and shared a deep bond with since the day they met in 1999. James had 4 wonderful children that he was incredibly proud of: sons Brandon and Dante, and daughters Aubriana and Audra, who were the very essence of his existence. James's legacy continues through his children and his two adored grandchildren, Meilani and Jade, who brought immense joy to his life. James's life was a testament to his unwavering dedication to his family. Known for his strength and determination, he was both a protector and a source of joy, always ready to share a laugh with his infectious sense of humor. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, and his love for them was boundless and unconditional. An avid basketball enthusiast, James found joy on the court, where his competitive spirit shone brightly. He also enjoyed the immersive worlds of video games, where he connected with friends and family alike. James is survived by his brothers, Jayson, John, Manley, Wilbur, Willie James, Teddy, Butch, and Derek, and his sisters, Charlene, Doris, Diane, and Mary Jane. He also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces and nephews, who cherished their time with their Uncle James. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor James's life and legacy.
