In Loving Memory

James (Jimmy) William Bradshaw
February 11, 1945 — May 15, 2026
It is with heavy hearts yet deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of James (Jimmy) William Bradshaw on May 15, 2026. Surrounded by love, he departed this world at Salem Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Conway, AR, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jimmy was 81 years old.
Born on February 11, 1945, in Stuttgart, AR, to the late Henry William Bradshaw and Bessie Inez Bradshaw, Jimmy embodied kindness, perseverance, and dedication throughout his life. Raised in a family that valued hard work and compassion, he carried these principles with him throughout his journey.
A proud graduate of Humphrey High School in 1964, Jimmy's adventurous spirit led him to serve in the United States Air Force. There, he exhibited unwavering commitment and bravery, forging bonds and memories that would last a lifetime.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Stephanie Bradshaw, with whom he shared a life filled with cherished memories and unwavering love. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Smith, and his brothers, Bobby and Joe Bradshaw, with whom he shared a special bond.
His legacy of love and resilience continues through his surviving family: his children Lee Bradshaw, Clint Bradshaw, Sharon Geater, and Jeremy Hammons, who each carry a piece of their father's strength and kindness in their hearts. He is also survived by his cherished sister, Nancy Yarbrough, who shared in his life's journey, offering support and love at every turn.
Jimmy was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. His eyes would light up at the mere mention of their names, and he treasured every moment spent with them. His laughter, stories, and gentle guidance will remain with them always, a testament to the love he so freely gave.
Though our hearts ache with his passing, we find solace in the countless memories we hold dear and the knowledge that he is reunited with those who have gone before him. Jimmy's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and family—a legacy that will endure through those who were blessed to know him.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Salem Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care and support during Jimmy's final days. In honor of his life, a memorial service will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to celebrate the extraordinary life of a man who touched so many.
In these moments of reflection, we are reminded of the words Jimmy often lived by: "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." May we all strive to live as fully and lovingly as he did.
Jimmy will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
