James Howard Graff

November 16, 1960 — October 14, 2026

James Howard Graff, a beloved brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on November 16, 1960, in the charming town of Port Washington, WI, James was the cherished son of the late Gerald and Dorothy Graff. He grew up surrounded by the love of his family, including his siblings who have passed before him, Tom Graff and Mary Hejny. James was a man of many passions, known for his profound love of art and travel. His collection of art pieces was a testament to his appreciation for beauty in all its forms, and his adventures around the world enriched his life with diverse experiences and friendships. James’s journeys were not just about visiting new places; they were about connecting with people and cultures, embodying his generous and kind-hearted nature. Family was at the core of who James was. He relished every moment spent with his loved ones, whether it was a family gathering or a simple meal together. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness in his surviving siblings: Myron (Vicky) Graff, David (Peggy) Graff, John (Sylvia) Graff, and Robert (Renee) Graff. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by his warmth and compassion. James's life will be honored with a service on November 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Unity Church Of Houston. It is a fitting location that reflects James’s spiritual connection and his community’s support. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in James's memory to the Unity Church of Truth in Houston. This gesture would honor his commitment to his faith and community, continuing the cycle of giving that James lived by. As we remember James Howard Graff, let us celebrate a life filled with love, art, travel, and family. His kind and giving heart left an indelible mark on all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished forever.
