James Hajovsky

James [Jim] Harold Hajovsky, age 81, passed away in Katy, Texas on April 24, 2026. He was born to Henry John and Thelma Laura (Raulston) Hajovsky in Hugo, Oklahoma on October 4, 1944. On June 3, 1985, he married Jeanette Marie Werner. He attended University of Texas Dental School then proudly James served his country in the Navy as an officer during the Vietnam War. James practiced dentistry for over 50 years and owned his own Dental Practice during that time. In his free time, James enjoyed long distance running, including several marathons, swimming, and spending time with his grandchildren. His hobbies included going to sporting events for his beloved Astros, Rockets, and Texans. Swimming with his grandchildren and traveling with family. Through his generosity and spirit, he touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. James was preceded in death by: his parents, Henry and Thelma Hajovsky; and his grandson, Landon Elliott. James is survived by: his wife of 40 years, Jeanette W. Hajovsky of Fulshear, TX; daughter, Abby Elliott and husband Steven of Fulshear, TX; brothers, Joe Hajovsky and wife Sharon of Columbus, TX, Johnny Hajovsky and wife Kathy of Columbus, TX and Jerry Hajovsky and wife Fran of Spring, TX; sister, Betty Hajovsky of Columbus, TX; and granddaughters, Evy and Avery.
