James Dillion Logue
July 13, 1939 — October 10, 2026
James Dillion Logue, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on July 13, 1939, in Dublin, Georgia, James was the cherished son of the late Leron and Avis Logue.
James led a life rich in love, commitment, and service. After serving his country with honor in the Army Reserve, he dedicated his professional career as an Environmental Specialist at Warner Robins Air Force Base, from which he retired with great pride. His time at the base left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the environment he worked so tirelessly to protect.
Faith played a central role in James's life. As a devoted member of the Baptist faith, he imparted values of kindness, integrity, and compassion to all who knew him. James's warm spirit was evident in his hobbies as well; he was a master woodworker whose creations were treasured by family and friends. His love for the outdoors was best expressed in his passion for lake life and fishing, where he found both solace and joy.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Leron and Avis Logue, and his sons, Steve Logue and Cail Logue. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Poole Logue, who was his partner and confidante. His legacy continues through his daughter, Debbie Caldwell and her husband, Johnny; his stepchildren, Trey Lowery and Amanda Spires; and his treasured grandchildren, Jon Eric Richardson, Kristin Little and her husband Aaron, and Lindsey Richardson. James was also blessed with three great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his later years.
James shared a special bond with his siblings, L.T. Logue and his wife Scharlene, and his sister, Wonnie Oliver and her husband Tony, along with several nieces and nephews who fondly remember their times together.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate James's remarkable life at a service on October 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Mary Whitaker Memorial Chapel.
