Born on June 6, 1960, in Lubbock, Texas, James was the cherished son of Pedro and Reina DeLosSantos. Predeceased by his father, he leaves behind his devoted mother, Reina, and a loving family, including his three children and six adoring grandchildren, who were the light of his life. James was a man of numerous passions, but perhaps none more defining than his love for the open road. The rumble of his Harley and the endless horizon were his companions, and he embraced every mile as a reminder of God's magnificent creation. When he returned from his travels, his heart found solace at his ranch, where he nurtured the land with pride and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Evenings spent with a guitar in hand, sharing music that mirrored the warmth and kindness within him, were among his most cherished moments. A man deeply connected to nature, James felt closest to God under the vast, starlit sky. His love for camping, horseback riding across the countryside, and creating lifelong memories with his children and grandchildren defined him. To his family, he was more than a father and grandfather; he was a teacher, protector, storyteller, and the unwavering presence they could always rely upon. His greatest joy came from witnessing his family's growth, laughter, and the shared experiences of life's beauty. James's life was a testament to his enduring faith. A man of deep spirituality, his relationship with God informed every aspect of his life. He generously shared this faith with family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Through his actions, compassion, and quiet strength, James demonstrated the essence of living a life filled with grace, humility, and service to others.
