It is with profound sadness and cherished memories that we announce the passing of James Dean Lowe Sr., beloved father, grandfather, and friend to many. James peacefully departed this world on May 22, 2026, at the age of 57, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Born on May 4, 1969, in the charming town of Saratoga, Texas, James was the cherished son of Linda Jackson, Louise Lowe, and George Lowe, all of whom preceded him in death. Their love and guidance shaped the man James would become—a man whose character was defined by loyalty, kindness, and an irresistibly infectious smile. James's life was a testament to the power of joy and connection. Known for his handsome demeanor and a laugh that could brighten the darkest of days, he had an unparalleled ability to make those around him feel welcomed and loved. His presence was a constant source of comfort and entertainment, turning ordinary days into extraordinary memories that will be treasured by all who knew him. He is survived by his six devoted children and thirteen adoring grandchildren, with another grandchild soon to grace this world. James's legacy will continue to thrive through them, as his spirit lives on in their laughter and love. The family would like to share a special message in honor of James: REMEMBER ME "Don't remember me with sadness, Don't remember me with tears, Remember all the laughter, We've shared throughout the years. Now I am contented That my life it was worthwhile, Knowing that I passed along the way I made somebody smile. When you are walking down the street And you've got me on your mind, I'm walking in your footsteps Only half a step behind. So please don't be unhappy Just because I'm out of sight, Remember that I'm with you Each morning, noon, and night." James's warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, and his spirit will forever be a guiding light. As we celebrate his life, may we find comfort in the laughter he shared and the love he bestowed upon us all. A memorial service will be held to honor James's life, with details to be announced by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in James's name, as a tribute to his generous and compassionate nature.
