He departed this world peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his wife Jodi and their son James William, after valiantly battling cancer with remarkable strength and grace.
Andy was the beloved son of the late James Edward and Patsy Ann, who instilled in him a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys and the importance of family. Preceded in death by his siblings, Deborah, Tommy, and Tammy, as well as his dear parents, Andy found solace in the enduring bonds of family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Jodi, with whom he shared a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Their union, which began on October 30, 1982, was blessed with the birth of their son, James William, on February 27, 1994—a moment that brought immense joy and pride to Andy’s life. Andy's professional life was marked by dedication and excellence. For 22 years, he worked as an installer and later as a field supervisor for Woodhaus Mill Works. His colleagues remember him not only for his expertise and leadership but also for his jovial spirit and willingness to lend a hand whenever needed.
Beyond his career, Andy's heart belonged to the great outdoors. An avid hunter, fisherman, and hiker, he found peace and fulfillment in nature's embrace. His love for the wilderness was only matched by the affection he had for those around him. Known for his quick wit and a mindset that could brighten any day, Andy was always ready with a smile or a helping hand, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
In honoring Andy’s wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate his life and bid him farewell. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the friends, family, and coworkers who supported Andy during his courageous battle with cancer and throughout his life.
