January 13, 1937 — January 10, 2026

James Albert Fox, a cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, just shy of his 89th birthday. Born in the tranquil town of Rock Springs, Wyoming, on January 13, 1937, James was the beloved son of Casper and Zelda Fox. James' life was one of dedication and love, marked by his enduring marriage to Jewel May Anson. They celebrated their union on August 15, 1955, and together they shared a beautiful journey until Jewel's passing in 2020. Their marriage was blessed with four wonderful children: Mark(Deceased) Sharon, Gardner (Deceased) and Jackie, who each carry forward his legacy in their own unique ways. Professionally, James was a devoted employee at Boeing, where he worked diligently as a machinist for 36 years. His commitment to his craft was not only a testament to his strong work ethic but also an inspiration to his family, as his son Gardner and brother Paul followed in his footsteps at the same shop, with his son-in-law Gary retiring from Boeing as well from the same shop. In addition to his industrious career, James was a devoted member of the LDS church. James had a knack for tinkering and was always keen to find out how things worked. His love for driving his cars and trucks was well-known, and he found joy in the simple pleasure of the open road. For many years, James and Jewel enjoyed the warm winters of Arizona as snowbirds, creating countless memories together. James was a family man at heart, and nothing brought him more joy than gathering his grandchildren for adventures, particularly their cherished outings into the woods to gather wood. His mission was always to bring his family together, and he succeeded in doing so, leaving behind a close-knit family who will forever treasure his memory. James is survived by his loving children: Sharon, Jackie. He was a proud grandfather to Brandi , Dustin, Rick, Michael, Casey, Gary (Ashley's significant other), Justin, and Krystal. His legacy continues through his eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who will carry forth his values and stories. James was predeceased by his beloved wife Jewel, his sons James Gardner and Casper Mark, and his granddaughter Ashley. Their memories remain deeply cherished by all who knew and loved them. James Albert Fox will be remembered for his love, steadfast dedication. His legacy of strength, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
