Jamerson Bobo
July 23, 1980 — May 26, 2026
Jamerson Bobo, a cherished soul known for his radiant smile and boundless love for those around him, departed from this world tragically on May 26, 2026. Born on a warm summer day, July 23, 1980, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Jamerson's journey through life was marked by a deep affection for family, friends, and community.
Jamerson was the beloved son of Prisilla Moore and John H. Potts, who instilled in him the values of compassion and kindness that he carried throughout his life. Though his journey was cut short, his legacy of love and warmth continues to touch the lives of those who knew him.
With a heart as big as his smile, Jamerson was a beacon of joy and positivity. He had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and loved, a testament to his generous spirit. His laughter was infectious, and his presence could light up even the darkest of rooms. He was a man who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return.
Jamerson is predeceased by his dear grandmother, Betty Woodson Lipscomb, and his uncles, Terry Wilson, Kenny Wilson, and Joseph Bobo, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms on the other side. He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory: his beloved daughter, Jmashyae Bobo, who was the light of his life, his siblings Alicia Bobo Vinson, Andre Bobo, and Shaun Bobo, who shared countless memories and moments of laughter with him, and a grandchild who will grow up hearing stories of their incredible grandfather.
Though Jamerson's time with us was far too brief, he leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and joy that will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. His passing is not only a loss to his family but to the entire community that was touched by his generosity and warmth.
A celebration of Jamerson's life will be held on June 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The service will be a time to honor and remember the beautiful life he lived and the indelible mark he left on us all.
As we gather to say our final goodbyes, let us remember Jamerson Bobo not for the tragic circumstances of his passing, but for the extraordinary man he was—a man whose love knew no bounds and whose smile could brighten the darkest of days. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may we carry forward his legacy of love and laughter in our hearts forever.
