May 1, 2026 — June 25, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jamal Nas’ier Miles. Born on May 1, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Jamal brought immense joy and light into the lives of those who were blessed to know him, though his time with us was far too brief. Jamal departed this world on June 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by his family. Jamal was the cherished son of Chantel Brabson and Jamaal Miles. Though his days were short, his presence was a radiant beam of happiness to his parents, offering them a glimpse of a future filled with hope and dreams. He is predeceased by his loving grandparents, Jarus McDowell Jr. and Jerami Gist, whose spirits now welcome him into their embrace. The Miles family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported them during this unimaginable time. Jamal did not have the chance to attend school or experience the milestones that fill a parent's heart with pride, yet his impact on his family is immeasurable. The love that enveloped him in life continues to shine brightly as a guiding light for his family. To honor Jamal's memory, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing his family to grieve and celebrate his brief yet meaningful life in an intimate setting. They invite those who wish to remember Jamal to contribute to a charity of their choice, in lieu of flowers, as a tribute to the love and joy he brought into this world. In a special message from his mother, Chantel shares, "My dear baby boy, mama didn’t get much time with you but I know you're watching down on your brothers, and I love you so, so, so, so much and miss you dearly." These heartfelt words capture the essence of their eternal bond, a mother’s love that transcends the boundaries of time and space. Though Jamal's time with us was brief, he will forever remain an enduring symbol of innocence and love, living on in the hearts of those who were touched by his spirit. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
