In Loving Memory of Jaleel TyQuan Sinclair May 14, 2006 – July 4, 2026 With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Jaleel TyQuan Sinclair, a beacon of light whose journey on this earth was far too brief but deeply impactful. Born on May 14, 2006, in Lumberton, North Carolina, Jaleel graced the world with an infectious smile and a heart full of love. He departed this life on July 4, 2026, having passed away at the hospital, leaving behind an enduring legacy that will be forever remembered. Jaleel was the beloved son of Jasmin Edwards Bember and Charles "Mann" Sinclair. His life was a tapestry of love, woven with the threads of a large and devoted family. He is survived by his loving mother, Jasmin Edwards Bember (Morris) of Fayetteville, and his dedicated father, Charles "Mann" Sinclair (Dinisha) of Lumberton. Jaleel's spirit continues to shine in the hearts of his ten sisters: Khloe Young, Joyce'lyn Sinclair, Raven Sinclair, Jamacia Copeland, Kaleena Sinclair, Malani Sinclair, Kalia Sinclair, Trinity Sinclair, Ashiya Fletcher, and Amilla Sinclair, and his seven brothers: JaMari Watson, Zion Baker, Zaire Baker, Mason Bember, MJ Bember, Kamryn Sinclair, and JaQuan Taylor. His grandparents, Mrs. Mamie Stephens, Mr. Troy Courtney, and Mr. Clarence (Doreen) McNeill, along with his great-grandmothers, Mrs. Helen Sinclair and Mrs. Margie Taylor held Jaleel close in their hearts. Standing in Support of Six Aunts: Danielle Townsend, Ashley Courtney, Christy (Pocco)Worley, Dianna Sinclair, Candice Wilson, and Jasmine McNeill. Two Uncles: Raheem (Michelle)Stephens and Sonny Sinclair. Two Special friends Asia Leach and Latana Graham. His Godmother Sheba Moore and countless aunts, uncles, family and friends who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother and grandfather, Ms. Diana Sinclair and Mr. Charles Smith, and his maternal grandfather, Mr. Milton (Corey) Stephens, and Mr. John Taylor, his cousin Kadaufei Worley, whose spirits undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. Jaleel was a proud student at Fairmont High School in Robeson County, where he not only excelled academically but also shone brightly on the basketball court and football field. His exceptional talents in sports were matched only by his passion and dedication. Jaleel's athletic prowess was a source of pride, and his determination inspired all who knew him. Beyond his accomplishments in sports, Jaleel's heart was dedicated to making a difference in his community. Through his work with Breaking Barriers and Behavioral Services, he became a beloved figure, known for his empathy, profound understanding, and boundless kindness. His vibrant smile and warm spirit captivated everyone he encountered, leaving a lasting impact on the children and peers who admired him. Jaleel's departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, yet his legacy of joy, love, and compassion will continue to inspire us all. As we bid farewell to Jaleel, let us celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the indelible mark he left on our hearts.
