It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jaina Bustamante, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend. Jaina passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 46 years old. Born on November 14, 1979, in Whittier, California, Jaina was the cherished daughter of Rosie and the late Raymond Bustamante. Growing up in a close-knit family, Jaina embodied kindness, strength, and resilience from a young age. Her vibrant spirit and compassionate nature touched everyone she met. Jaina's life was a testament to her selflessness and dedication to those she loved. She was a devoted mother to her son, Noah Bustamante, whom she cherished above all else. Her unwavering love and guidance have left an indelible mark on Noah's life, and her legacy will continue through him. In addition to her son, Jaina is survived by her mother, Rosie Bustamante, and her four brothers, Robert, Nicholas, Alex, and Adam Bustamante. Her family was her world, and she found immense joy in the moments shared with them, whether during family gatherings or simple everyday interactions. Jaina faced life's challenges with grace and an unyielding optimism that inspired those around her. Her laughter was infectious, and her warmth was a comfort to all who knew her. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. While Jaina's time with us was far too short, she leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will always remember her as a beacon of light and love. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jaina's life will be held on July 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Services, located at 400 South Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206. Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jaina's memory to a cancer research organization of your choice, to continue the fight against the disease that took her from us too soon. Jaina Bustamante's life was a beautiful gift to all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit and the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever.
