It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jacqueline Westbrook-Forte on April 13, 2026, at her cherished home. Born on May 13, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland, Jacqueline lived a life rich in kindness, laughter, and devotion to those she loved.
Jacqueline was the beloved daughter of the late Carletha and Preston Westbrook. She shared a joyful upbringing with her brothers, Arthur and Thaddeus Westbrook, who remain to celebrate her memory and carry forward her legacy. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Forte, with whom she shared many beautiful years.
A proud alumna of Western High School in Baltimore, Jacqueline went on to build a commendable career as a telephone operator, where her exceptional skills were recognized and led to her promotion. Her professional life was marked by dedication and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
For over four decades, Jacqueline was a devoted member of the New Shiloh Baptist Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was known throughout the congregation for her quick wit, warm smile, and ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. Her kindness and generosity were hallmarks of her character, touching countless lives both within and beyond the church community.
Jacqueline found joy in reading the Bible, organizing events, and cherishing moments with her family. Her home was a gathering place filled with laughter, love, and her ever-present humor, which could lighten any mood.
In honoring Jacqueline's memory, donations may be made to women’s shelters, a cause close to her heart. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the hospice care staff and family members who provided compassionate support during her final days.
Jacqueline Westbrook-Forte will be remembered as a beacon of love and laughter, whose spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.
