Jacqueline Stone, a vibrant soul who filled the world with warmth and love, passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2026, due to complications from a stroke. Born on December 10, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas, Jacqueline was a cherished daughter of Ruth and Ernest Steinert, who have since passed.
Jackie, as she was affectionately known, grew up in a bustling household filled with love and adventure. She was a spunky and spirited individual, always full of life and ready to face any challenge. Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she poured her heart and soul into nurturing and loving them.
She is survived by her beloved siblings Pat, Michele, Kenneth, and Herbert, who shared countless childhood memories and moments of joy with her. Her legacy continues through her four devoted children, John, Tina, Sherry, and Sheila, each of whom adored their mother for her unwavering strength and compassion. Jacqueline's spirit also lives on in her ten grandchildren: Robert, Jennifer, Kevin, David, Zoey, Taylor, Steven, Angel, Andrew, Joseph, and Joshua, all of whom were blessed to know the boundless love of their grandmother. Her family tree further extends to include 16 great-grandchildren, who will grow up hearing stories of their remarkable great-grandmother.
Jacqueline was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Ernest, and her sister, Ruth. The loss of Jacqueline leaves an indelible void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her enduring spirit and love will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Jacqueline's life, as her family gathers to celebrate the incredible journey she lived. Those wishing to honor Jacqueline's memory may do so by supporting a cause close to her heart, in lieu of flowers.
