Jacqueline Moses, affectionately known as Jackie, entered eternal rest on May 3, 2026, just shy of her 66th birthday, in the comforting embrace of her home. Born on May 8, 1960, in Maywood, Illinois, Jackie was a beacon of warmth and joy whose legacy of love and kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. Jackie was the cherished daughter of the late Bertha and Harrison Marshall. She was part of a close-knit family and shared a profound bond with her predeceased siblings, Cynthia, Darnell, Rickey, and Larry Marshall. She now joins them, along with her beloved husband, Fredrick Moses, in the peaceful realm of eternity. A proud graduate of Proviso East High School, Jackie embarked on a fulfilling career as a supervisor in food service at Loyola Medical Center. For over two decades, she dedicated herself with unwavering commitment and retired with the respect and admiration of her colleagues and friends. Jackie's life was a tapestry of vibrant passions and interests. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life: the revving of engines as she admired cars, the sizzle of a barbecue, the beauty of blooming flowers, the companionship of animals, and the melodies of music that set her heart to dance. Shopping and basking in the splendor of beautiful weather were some of her favorite pastimes, all of which she enjoyed with an infectious enthusiasm that brought smiles to those around her. Her devotion to family was the cornerstone of her existence. Jackie was a nurturing mother to her daughter, Tiffany Moses, and a doting grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Rickie House Jr. and Tamya House. Her love for them was boundless, and she relished every moment spent with them, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Jackie also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, each touched by her generous spirit and welcoming heart. Jackie was a proud and longtime member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, where her faith was a source of strength and solace. Her acts of kindness, warm smile, and unwavering support for her community reflected her deep-seated belief in the power of love and generosity. Known for her ability to find humor in life's challenges, Jackie had an innate talent for making the best out of any situation. Her spirit was unyielding, her heart was open, and her love was boundless. She was a light in the lives of many, and her memory will forever illuminate the paths of those she leaves behind. In celebrating Jackie, we honor a life filled with love, laughter, and unending compassion.
