Jacqueline Cutler'Boone
It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Marie Boone, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully at her home on August 21, 2026. Born in Suffolk, Virginia, on May 11, 1964, Jacqueline lived a life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering kindness.
Jacqueline was the beloved daughter of Tom Cutler Sr. and Rudy Mae Robertson, who preceded her in death. She is also reunited with her sister, Tracy Cutler-Elam, her brother, Tom Cutler Jr., her late husband, James Tyrone Pittman Sr., and her precious granddaughter, Makayla Nicole Jones. She leaves behind a legacy of love, sustained by her devoted spouse of 16 years, Jesse Boone, and her adoring children: James Tyrone Pittman Jr. (Kelly), Bakari Jamal Pittman (Alicia), Ciara Nicole Jones (Marcus), and Frank Lowell Eley. Her memory will continue to be cherished by her 11 grandchildren: Tykirra Kelly, Jayla Pittman, Sariah Riddick, Jamari Kareem Pittman, Khole Eley, Kennedy Jones, Marcus Jones Jr., Dream Eley, Tru Eley, and Summer Eley.
Jacqueline’s life was marked by her deep commitment to her family and faith. She was an alumna of Forest Glen High, where she pursued her love for track and field, graduating in 1983. Her professional career was dedicated to uplifting others, serving in management at Family Dollar and later as a customer service supervisor at Burlington. Her warmth and guidance left a lasting imprint on colleagues and new team members alike.
A devoted follower of Christ, Jacqueline first nurtured her faith at St. Paul (formerly R.Z.U.A), contributing generously to the usher board, hospitality board, and other church groups. Her spiritual journey continued as a cherished member of Higher Calling Ministry, under the leadership of Pastor James and Barbara Alexander. Jacqueline's compassion extended beyond her church community as she actively supported Light the Night and the American Heart Association.
Jacqueline possessed a remarkable talent for crochet, crafting blankets filled with love for anyone who asked. Her quick wit, beautiful smile, and generous hugs would instantly brighten any room, making everyone feel like family. Her kindness and generosity reached beyond her immediate circle, touching countless lives.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Jacqueline's lifelong friends, including the late Lettie Lassiter, Anna Saunder, and Beverly White, whose friendships were treasures in her life. Special thanks are also due to the VOA and Brock Cancer Center, as well as the Hospice and private duty nursing staff, whose care and support over the past three years were invaluable.
In honor of Jacqueline's generous spirit, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Jacqueline’s legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She was a guiding light, a beacon of hope, and her memory will forever be cherished.
