Jacqueline Ann Midkiff
August 14, 1939 — April 1, 2026
It is with profound sadness yet deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Jacqueline Ann Midkiff on April 1, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on August 14, 1939, in Pelham, New York, Jackie, as she was fondly known, was a beacon of love, laughter, and kindness whose light touched all who knew her.
Jackie was the cherished daughter of Joseph Robert Lawson and Margaret Genevive Koysay. She spent her formative years in Peekskill, New York, where she attended school until the 1955-1956 school year, laying the foundation for a life defined by dedication and nurturing care. Her siblings, Peggy, Katherine, and Joseph, who predeceased her, were her earliest companions, sharing in the joys and challenges of youth.
In the beautiful tapestry of her life, Jackie was a devoted full-time homemaker, dedicating her boundless energy to raising her beloved children. Her son, Walter Price, who preceded her in death, was always held close in her heart. Her daughters, Laura, Lisa, Sharon, and Pam, remain as her enduring legacy, embodying the strength and compassion she instilled in them.
Jackie's family extended through generations, blessed with seven grandchildren—Jesse, Sarah, Chris, Jenn, Donna, Amanda, and Wesley. Her love knew no bounds as she cherished her great-grandchildren, Jessica, Ava, Alyssa, Laura, Gabriel, and Kinsley, and her great-great-grandchildren, Juniper and Julian. Each held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in watching them grow, thrive, and carry forward the values she imparted.
A woman of many traits, Jackie embraced life with unyielding enthusiasm. Her charismatic spirit was contagious, filling rooms with laughter and joy. She possessed a zest for life, evident in her love for playing BINGO, her eagerness to travel, and her unwavering dedication to family gatherings. Her greatest joy, however, was found in caring for her grandbabies and great-grandbabies, around whom her world revolved.
Though Jackie has left this earthly realm, the love she gave and the memories she created will forever linger in the hearts of those who loved her. Her family will honor her privately, in accordance with her wishes, celebrating her life in an intimate ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jackie's memory to Three Oaks Hospice, 16420 Park Ten Place #220, Houston, TX 77084, an organization close to her heart during her final days.
As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we take solace in knowing that Jackie is now reunited with those she loved and lost, embracing them once more with open arms. Her legacy of love and laughter lives on, a testament to a life beautifully lived.
