Jacob Luna, a beloved father, partner, and friend, passed away on September 10, 2026, while embarking on one of his life's many adventures. Born on April 2, 1987, in Bakersfield, California, Jacob brought warmth and joy into the lives of everyone he encountered. His life was a testament to the power of laughter, love, and the joy of living in the moment.
Jacob was the cherished son of the late Micaela Luna, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his devoted partner, Beatrize Granados, with whom he shared a beautiful relationship that began when they were just 16 years old. Their bond was a tapestry of understanding, kindness, and laughter that enriched both their lives.
A proud and loving father, Jacob leaves behind his two children, Analia Luna and Ares Luna, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his siblings, LLahaira Delgado, Gerardo Cazares, and Gloria Cazares, who were his lifelong companions and confidants.
Jacob graduated from Rincon High School in 2005 and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona. He served his country with honor in the Army, embodying the values of dedication and service that he carried into every aspect of his life.
Known for his humor and joyful spirit, Jacob was a hardworking, loving, and family-centered man. He cherished his family, treasured his friendships, and taught those around him to always keep an open mind and embrace every moment. "It's part of the adventure," he would often say, reminding us all of the beauty in life's unpredictability.
A service to celebrate Jacob's life will be held on September 26, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Sensible Funerals & Cremations, located at 109 W Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has offered their support during this time. Your love and kindness mean more than words can express.
