Jacob Lee Callahan

March 20, 2014 — July 18, 2026

In loving memory of Jacob Lee Callahan, who tragically left us far too soon at the tender age of 12. Born in Frederick, Maryland, on March 20, 2014, Jacob brought immense joy and light into the lives of all who knew him. He departed this world on July 18, 2026, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Jacob was a bright young spirit, full of curiosity and passion. A student at Walkersville High, he was a proud member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA), where he showcased his dedication and leadership. Jacob's love for the outdoors was unparalleled; he was an avid hunter who cherished the serene moments in nature. Those who were fortunate enough to witness his mechanical skills knew of his remarkable talent and ingenuity. Though his time with us was brief, Jacob's impact was profound. He shared a special bond with his loving mother, Wendi Mills, who survives him and carries his spirit forward. Jacob was predeceased by his father, Jay Callahan, and his beloved grandmother, Sharin Tyler, who surely welcomed him with open arms. A service to honor Jacob's life will be held on August 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home located on Opossum Pike. Family, friends, and all those touched by Jacob's joyful spirit are invited to celebrate his life and bid a heartfelt farewell. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joseph Devilbiss to help defray funeral costs, a gesture of kindness that Jacob would have appreciated deeply. Jacob's gentle heart and vibrant spirit will forever be etched in our memories. Though he is no longer with us in body, his love and light will continue to guide us. May he rest in eternal peace, hunting in the endless fields of heaven.
