Jaclynn Jackie Hare

Jaclynn “Jackie” Hare, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, at the University of Michigan Hospital. Jackie was born on November 11, 1966, in Adrian, Michigan, to Jack and Barbara (Bates) Parish.
She graduated from Adrian High School, where she was known not only for her academic achievements but also for her kindness and warmth that touched everyone she met. Jackie possessed a genuine kindness that she shared with everyone, and her gentle spirit was a comfort to all who knew her.
In 1986, Jackie married the love of her life, Daniel Hare, on October 25. Together, they shared 42 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them, a testament to the power of unwavering love and partnership.
Jackie was a devoted mother to her son, Dan Hare, nurturing him with love, guidance, and an unyielding support that helped shape him into the person he is today. Her family was the center of her world, and she devoted her life to creating a home filled with love and joy.
Her caring nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to friends and neighbors in need. Jackie’s kindness was a beacon in her community, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Hare; her son, Dan Hare; and her mother, Barbara Parish. She was predeceased by her father, Jack Parish; her sister, Jennifer Carney Parish; and her brother, Jeff Parish.
In honoring Jackie’s life, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of their choice, reflecting the generosity and compassion that were hallmarks of her character.
