It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jackie Tacuba, who departed this world far too soon on June 1, 2026. Jackie was born on September 18, 1996, in Longwood, Florida, and from her very first breath, she brought an abundance of light and joy to the world around her. Her life, though tragically cut short by a heartbreaking accident, was a vivid tapestry of love, adventure, and unwavering dedication to those she cherished. Jackie was the beloved daughter of the late Laura and Francisco Tacuba, who, along with her grandfather, Warren Davis, have preceded her in death. Her departure leaves a palpable void in the hearts of her surviving family members, including her devoted brother, Frank, and her loving sisters, Angie, Christin, Samantha, and Elisha. Together, they will find solace in their shared memories and the indelible impact Jackie had on each of their lives. Jackie's journey through life was marked by her passion for nature and travel. She found beauty in the simplest of things, whether it was the rustling leaves of a forest or the horizon of an unexplored land. Her adventures took her to many corners of the world, where she absorbed the wonders of different cultures and landscapes, always returning with stories that captivated those around her. A proud alumna of Apopka High School, Jackie carried the values of determination and empathy into her professional life. For two decades, she dedicated herself to the healthcare field, touching countless lives with her compassionate care and unwavering commitment. Jackie was not only a successful and hard-working professional but also a beacon of hope and healing for those she served. Her colleagues remember her as a bright and dedicated presence, whose enthusiasm for her work was matched only by her kindness toward others. Jackie's radiant smile and vibrant personality could light up any room. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit indomitable, and her heart as expansive as the skies she loved to explore. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel special and loved, leaving an everlasting imprint on the lives she touched. As we mourn the loss of Jackie, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and boundless joy. Though our family will never be the same without her, we find comfort in the strength of our bonds and the memories we hold dear. We will carry her spirit with us, knowing that we will get through this together, just as she would have wanted. In honoring Jackie's life, we choose to remember her not in sadness, but in the joy she brought to all who knew her. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the love she gave so freely and the light she brought into the world.
