Born on August 28, 1972, in Denver, Colorado, Jackie lived a life filled with love, creativity, and selfless dedication to those around her. Jackie was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael "Mikey" Monk, whose memory she held dear and whose spirit undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms. Despite this profound loss, Jackie faced her final days with remarkable grace and strength, a testament to the enduring love she had for her family. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Britany Monk of Denver and Samantha Monk of Fort Collins, who were the light of her life. Her legacy continues through her four cherished grandchildren, who will fondly remember her warm hugs and the joy she brought into their lives. Jackie is also survived by her brother, James, and many dear friends who felt like family. Jackie had an innate talent for making everyone feel completely at home in her presence. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was a woman of many talents, finding joy in crafting, home renovation, crocheting, and coloring. These hobbies not only showcased her creativity but also provided a way for her to share her love and happiness with those around her. A service to celebrate Jackie’s life will be held on July 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Flatirons Community Church. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the beautiful life she lived and the countless lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jackie’s memory. Her spirit of generosity and kindness will live on through these gestures of goodwill. Jackie Ann Monk will be remembered as a beacon of love and kindness, whose greatest joy was making others feel happy and cherished.
