Jack Merton Boardman

July 23, 1948 — October 15, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Merton Boardman on October 15, 2026. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Grace Boardman, and brother, James R. Boardman (Margaret). He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Teresa; daughter Sarah (Alphonso) and son Andrew as well as beloved nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jack graduated from White Bear High School. During his youth he was a Boy Scout and a member of the Civil Air Patrol, both experiences left him with joyful life-long memories. Throughout his life he was a Jack of all trades, but he finally landed his favorite job: Jack retired from Saturn of St. Paul, where he delivered auto parts to local body shops. He will be remembered for his love of dogs, dark chocolate (75-80% was a sweet spot), and` “dad” jokes–He was a clever pun master. He was also artistic and could build a scale model of anything. He enjoyed writing and illustrating what he called “cheesy fiction”. Throughout his life he kept busy with several hobbies, including war gaming and building model railroads. He enjoyed visiting Duluth and camping along the shores of Lake Superior with his family. Memorials should be sent to Our Lady of Peace Hospice. https://ourladyofpeacemn.org/donate/
