It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Lee, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us too soon on September 4, 1978, after a brave battle with prostate cancer. Born on August 26, 1934, in the United States, Jack touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and passion for life. Jack was the cherished son of Gigi and Michael Lee, and he grew up in a loving environment that nurtured his dreams and ambitions. He pursued higher education at the University of Houston, a place that honed his skills and laid the foundation for his career in the burgeoning field of computers. His professional journey was marked by dedication and a forward-thinking attitude, earning him respect and admiration from colleagues and peers alike. Beyond his career, Jack was a man of many talents and interests. A gifted guitar player, he found joy and solace in music, playing for the band Little Gypsies. Music was more than a hobby; it was a way for Jack to express himself and connect with others. His love for rock ‘n’ roll music was profound, as echoed in his heartfelt final words, "I love rock ‘n’ roll music." Jack's legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Michelle Lee, and their four children: Stacy, Peter, Alley, and Clark. He was a caring and supportive father, always putting his family's needs before his own. His children remember him as a guiding light, whose wisdom and love will continue to inspire them. He also leaves behind his best friend, Weston, who shared countless adventures and memories with Jack. Their friendship was a testament to loyalty and camaraderie, reflecting Jack's ability to build deep and meaningful relationships. A service to honor Jack's life will be held on September 13, 1978, at 1:45 PM at WestonMckenzie. Family, friends, and all whose lives Jack touched are welcome to attend and celebrate his remarkable journey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of their choice, in Jack's memory. This gesture will continue Jack’s spirit of giving and helping others, a value he held close to his heart. Jack Lee was a remarkable individual whose spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His laughter, music, and love for life will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
