Jack Bernard Mansfield
October 30, 1951 — July 1, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Bernard Mansfield, a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather, who departed this world on July 1, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on October 30, 1951, in Evans, Indiana, Jack was the cherished son of the late Jack and Renee Mansfield.
Jack devoted his life to his family, career, and passion for the great outdoors. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Candace Mansfield, with whom he built a life full of love, resilience, and shared experiences. Together, they faced life's challenges and joys, crafting a home filled with warmth and laughter.
He leaves behind a legacy in his children, sons Jeff Mansfield, Levi Mansfield, and Austin Hill, and daughter Cheyan Hill. Jack was also the proud grandfather to six grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his dear sisters, Pat Mansfield-Sisneros and Gretchen Mansfield, and his brother, Rory Mansfield.
Jack's professional journey saw him rise through the ranks at TriState, eventually leading to a position in the Control Room, where his work ethic and determination shone through. His colleagues and friends knew him as a man of great strength and perseverance, someone who never wavered once he set his mind to a task.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Jack found solace and excitement in nature's embrace. His enduring love for the outdoors was evident in the many mounts that filled his home, a testament to his countless adventures. Whether shooting ground squirrels for ranchers or exploring trails on his four-wheeler, Jack's spirit was invigorated by the wilderness.
Jack will be remembered fondly for his remarkable strength and endurance, qualities that inspired those around him. The kind of man that would strap a refrigerator to his back before he asked for help. His ability to see things through to the end was a defining trait, leaving an indelible mark on his family and friends.
In honoring Jack's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. While we gather in spirit to celebrate his life, the family wishes to extend a heartfelt message: "Life has to end, but love does not. Jack, though your body is finally resting, the strength you instilled in us all will carry on in everything we do. Thank you for everything you have done, and all that you were. Rest In Peace."
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Jack's memory may make donations to a charity of their choice, reflecting his love for nature and his enduring legacy.
Jack Bernard Mansfield will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
