Jabaar Cranston Williams, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on September 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and cherished memories. Born on June 12, 1986, in Cleveland, Ohio, Jabaar was the son of Janice Williams and Michael Billingsley. Though raised by his mother Janice and his "pops," Emil Harris, Jabaar was surrounded by a family that instilled in him values of kindness and generosity. Jabaar was a proud graduate of Job Corps, completing his studies in the summer of 2008. With a skillful hand and creative spirit, he pursued a career as a carpenter and painter, leaving his mark both in his professional life and in the hearts of those he met. Jabaar's life was a testament to his vibrant personality and infectious humor. He was a comedian at heart, finding joy in making others laugh and creating a welcoming atmosphere wherever he went. His love for movies and cooking brought people together, and his presence was always a source of comfort and joy. Family was at the core of Jabaar's life. He leaves to mourn his mother Janice Harris (Emil Harris), his father Michael Billingsley, his only son, Jabaar Cranston Jr., his three sisters, Marquitta Williams, Takila Williams, India Armstrong, and his five brothers, Michael Billingsley, Angelo, Malik, Chauncey Billingsley, and Emil Harris Jr. Jabaar's extended family, including a host of nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, will continue to celebrate the memories they shared with him. Jabaar was predeceased by his beloved grandmother, Annie B. Hoy, and his grandparents, Mary and James Billingsley, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
