February 19, 2003 — June 13, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Isla Mayfield on June 13, 2026. Isla, who was born on February 19, 2003, in the bustling heart of Manhattan, leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and profound compassion that touched all who were fortunate enough to know her. A cherished daughter of Siobhán and Robert Mayfield, Isla was a beacon of light from the moment she entered this world. She grew up in a home filled with warmth and encouragement, alongside her devoted sister Sophia and her loving brother Evan. Isla's family was the foundation of her life; their unwavering support fueled her passions and propelled her toward her dreams. Isla's inquisitive nature and profound love for storytelling led her to New York University, where she pursued a PhD in Film. Her vibrant imagination and keen eye for detail allowed her to create cinematic pieces that not only entertained but also inspired and provoked thought. Isla's work was a reflection of her spirit—original, bold, and deeply empathetic. In her personal life, Isla was blessed with the love and companionship of her wife, Savanna, and together they built a home filled with laughter, understanding, and shared dreams. Their love story was one of mutual respect and unwavering support. Isla's greatest joy came in the form of her beautiful daughter, Rosalie, who she adored beyond measure. Isla's love for Rosalie was boundless, and she took immense pride in watching her grow and flourish. Isla was also a beloved niece to her Aunt Aisling, whose guidance and wisdom enriched her life in countless ways. Isla cherished her family and friends, always making time to nurture these connections, and her presence was a comforting and uplifting force in the lives of those she loved. While Isla's time with us was cut far too short, her impact remains immeasurable. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her work and her spirit. In accordance with Isla's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing her family and closest friends to celebrate her life in an intimate setting. To honor Isla's memory and continue her commitment to making the world a better place, donations may be made to the Rainbow House Foundation, an organization that reflects Isla's values and dedication to supporting and uplifting communities in need. As we say goodbye to our beloved Isla, let us carry forward her light, her dreams, and her unwavering belief in the power of love and creativity. She will be forever missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us all.
