In Loving Memory of Irene Vienna
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Vienna, who left us on Novermber 2, 2026, at the tender age of 19. Born on October 24, 2007, in Pocatello, Idaho, Irene was a beacon of resilience and creativity, beloved by all who knew her.
Irene was the cherished daughter of Armando Perez and Elizabeth Erwin, and the beloved sister of Avalee Perez. Her life was a tapestry of cherished moments shared with her family, including her late Aunt Janet Perez, whose memory she held dear.
From a young age, Irene demonstrated a tenacity and zest for life that was truly inspiring. Her journey led her through the halls of Century High School, where she graduated in 2025, and onto the path of higher education at Idaho State University to pursue a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her ambitions later shifted to follow in her father's footsteps into the world of IT via Job Corps. Irene's work ethic was evident from her teenage years, with experiences in landscaping, warehouse work, fast food, and customer service, before embracing her passion for art and academia.
A gifted storyteller, Irene was an avid reader and writer. Her boundless imagination found a home in her published works, "Isekai: Beyond The Screen" and "Adrenaline Rush," as well as her numerous contributions to AO3. At 19, she began journaling—a personal endeavor that, though brief, captured the essence of her innermost thoughts. Her loyalty, a defining trait, was a testament to the depth of her love for those she held dear.
Irene's personal life was enriched by her relationship with Eric, whom she had known for eight years and was happily engaged to for three. Together, they envisioned a future filled with love and companionship, planning to marry in September 2027.
Her untimely departure, caused by a tragic accident, has left an indelible void in the hearts of her family and friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Nurse Anne, whose compassionate presence provided comfort to Irene in her final moments, ensuring she was not alone as she transitioned from this world to the next.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Irene's memory, in accordance with her family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, National Home Office in Atlanta, Georgia.
