In Loving Memory

Inocenica Bonilla
June 15, 1967 — March 5, 2026
It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our beloved Inocenica Bonilla, who was called home on March 5, 2026. Born on June 15, 1967, in the vibrant and beautiful Dominican Republic, Inocenica's life was a testament to love, resilience, and joy that touched everyone she encountered.
Inocenica was the cherished daughter of Mary Bonilla, who instilled in her a profound sense of family, kindness, and commitment—all of which she embodied throughout her life. Her gentle spirit and unwavering strength were a guiding light, not only for her family but for everyone who crossed her path.
She was predeceased by her beloved son, Brandy Bonilla, whose memory she carried tenderly in her heart every day. Despite the heartache of losing Brandy, Inocenica found solace and strength in her daughters, Nathia Bonilla, Jennifer Bonilla, and Nadhia Bonilla. Her love for her daughters was boundless, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting them, imparting wisdom and grace with every shared moment.
Inocenica was blessed with a legacy that extends through her eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, each of whom she adored with all her heart. She took immense joy and pride in their achievements and cherished every opportunity to celebrate their milestones.
Professionally, Inocenica found great joy during her years working in a jewelry shop. She delighted in the beauty around her and shared that appreciation with her colleagues and customers alike. Her warm smile and attentive nature made every interaction special, forging connections that would last a lifetime.
Inocenica's life was tragically cut short before she could undergo emergency surgery. Yet, even in her final days, she demonstrated courage and grace, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family and friends.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care during this challenging time. We also express our deepest condolences to all who have visited our beloved one, whose memory will forever reside in our hearts.
A celebration of Inocenica's life will be held on March 26, 2026, at 12:36 PM at APEX, located at 550 W Williams St. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory, sharing stories, and celebrating the remarkable life she led.
Inocenica Bonilla's legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering faith. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever by her family and friends. May she rest in peace, reunited with those who went before her, and may her soul find eternal comfort.
