August 1, 1959 — July 9, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Inez (RED) E. Holford, a beloved member of our community, who peacefully departed this life at her home on July 9, 2026. Born on August 1, 1959, Inez spent her 66 years bringing light and love into the lives of everyone she encountered. Inez was married to the love of her life, Russell Holford, on September 2, 1983, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Though they did not have children of their own, Inez and Russell's home was always filled with the laughter and joy of their many nieces and nephews, as well as their cherished dogs. Inez dedicated 42 years to a fulfilling career at ConAgra Foods, where she not only excelled in her work but also formed lasting friendships and bonds that felt like family. Her colleagues will remember her for her unwavering kindness and ability to make any room brighter just by being in it. A lover of the great outdoors, Inez found peace and inspiration in nature. She was an avid crafter, whose hands brought beauty to life through painting, sewing, drawing, and woodworking. Her works were not only expressions of her creativity but also tokens of her generosity, often crafted with love for family and friends. Her personality was as vibrant as the colors she painted with, and her love and kindness were known to all who crossed her path. She had a remarkable ability to lift spirits and spread joy, traits that will be dearly missed by her community and all who knew her. Inez is predeceased by her loving husband Russell; her father-in-law Wayne Holford; mother-in-law Ida Holford; and brothers-in-law Rod and Ross Holford. She is survived by her treasured nieces and nephews: Regina Holford (Scott), Pamela Woodruff (Dean), Ryan Holford (Stacey), Jessica Holford, and Christina Holford (William); great-nieces and nephews Madison, McKenzie, Makayla, Dean, Micah, Eko-Marie, and Marcus; and her great-great-nephew Greyson. Brother in law Rex Holford(Becky), Her dear friend, John King, along with Angie and two grandchildren, will also hold her memory close to their hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Inez's memory to a charitable organization of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to helping others. As we say goodbye to a remarkable woman, we take comfort in knowing that Inez's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know her. Her memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
