Imane Sejour Julmis
July 28, 1962 — April 9, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Imane Sejour Julmis, affectionately known as "Glissade," who left this world on April 9, 2026, at the age of 63, after courageously battling a long heart disease. Imane passed away at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas, the city where her remarkable journey began on July 28, 1962.
Imane was the cherished daughter of the late Anselma and Icresia Sejour. She was preceded in death by her dear parents, her brothers Adam and Rodney Sejour, and her sisters, Rosemene and Edna Sejour, along with their children. The legacy of love and strength that Imane fostered within her family will forever endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
As a devoted mother, Imane's greatest joy was her children: Darline Sejour Julmis, married to Jacques Pierre Louis; Dachemine Julmis, married to Vladimyr Verdieu; Davens Julmis, married to Stephane Julmis; and her sons Evelt, Evens, and Wood Peter Julmis. Her nurturing spirit lives on in her nine beloved grandchildren: Samuel, Nathan, Surayyah, Dahana, Isaiah, Destini, Joshua, Miley, and Mirah.
Imane's heart was forever touched by the love she shared with her husband, Joseph Julmis, to whom she was married for over 30 years until his passing on December 25, 2014. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
From a young age, Imane exhibited an entrepreneurial spirit, channeling her talents into business ventures that included baking exquisite cakes for special occasions and working as a skilled seamstress. Her creativity and dedication were surpassed only by her warm, kind, and helpful nature, which endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Imane's extended family, including Marc Vile, Magda Mondestime, Iphonia, Sr. Guilene Pierre, and Sr. Renes Ledix, among many others, held a special place in her heart. Her life was a testament to the power of love, community, and unwavering kindness.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Rest On Funeral Chapel for their compassionate care during Imane's final days. We also express heartfelt thanks to all who gathered to celebrate her life and honor her memory. Imane's warmth and kindness will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love will continue to inspire us all.
Imane Sejour Julmis, your gentle spirit and boundless love have left an indelible mark on this world. May you rest in eternal peace, knowing that you were deeply loved and will be forever remembered.
