Ima Jean Denson, a beacon of love and joy, passed away on August 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. Born on May 8, 1938, in Hunt, Texas, Jean was the cherished daughter of Ruby McCord and Truett Aston. Her life was a testament to the values and warmth instilled in her from a young age.
Jean's life was beautifully intertwined with that of her beloved husband, Buddy J. Denson, whom she married in 1973. Together, they shared 43 wonderful years, filled with love, laughter, and mutual support. Her strength and resilience were evident as she built a life rich in family and community.
A devoted Christian, Jean was a regular attendee at her local church, where her faith was a guiding light. Her commitment to service was further exemplified through her presidency at the Moulton Lions Club, where she served with dedication for several years. Jean was also a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi, contributing to the community with her warmth and generosity.
Jean's vibrant personality shone through her love for dancing and her active participation in a family bowling league, where she celebrated numerous tournament victories. Her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued was a gift she shared freely, endearing her to all who knew her.
Her career at R.B. Everett was marked by diligence and excellence until her retirement, after which she continued to inspire those around her with her wisdom and grace. Jean's love for her family was boundless; she was always there to offer support and guidance with an open heart.
Preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Truett, her husband Buddy, her son Jimmy Don Krampota, grandson Dustin F. Wright, and sister Carlene Carlock, Jean's legacy continues through her surviving family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Donna K. Wright, grandson Taylor R. Wright, granddaughter Lisa A. Krampota, daughter in law Darlene A. Krampota, Kip Wright, Step daughter Teresa Miller and her husband Ban Miller their son Scott Miller and his wife Rachel and their son Cal.
Ima Jean Denson will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever illuminate the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
