Ida Mae Mann

Ida Mae Mann, a beloved matriarch, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on April 29, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on August 25, 1936, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, she graced this world with her warmth, generosity, and indomitable spirit.
Ida was the daughter of Willard and Ester Mann, who instilled in her a love for family and a zest for life that she carried throughout her days. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray Rothaas, her brother, Butch Mann, her devoted parents, and her first husband, Charles Cummings, with whom she shared 17 years of marriage and nine wonderful children. Though her journey with Charles ended, they remained united in their love and care for their family. Her union with Ray Rothaas in Kenmore, Ohio, in 1982 marked another beautiful chapter, filled with 20 years of love and companionship until Ray's passing in 2002.
Ida's love and legacy are carried forward by her surviving children: Charles (Barbara), Michael (Cindy), Francis Daniel (Lou), Susan, Mary (Greg), Kathleen (Charles), Barbara (Dave), Theresa, and John (Valerie). She also leaves behind four stepchildren and her sisters, Becky (Thomas) and Carol. Her family blossomed to include 29 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, each a testament to the love that Ida nurtured.
A woman of vibrant spirit, Ida was known for her great taste in music and food. She was an avid dancer and a lover of great music, always lighting up any room she entered with her infectious energy and fun-loving nature. Her sweet tooth was legendary, and she delighted in sharing good food with those she loved. Ida's passion for life extended to her love of yard sales, where she was always on the hunt for the perfect piece of Fenton glass, a testament to her knack for finding beauty in the ordinary.
