Ida Bourgeois
July 8, 1964 — April 9, 2026
In loving memory, we honor the life of Ida Bourgeois, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on July 8, 1964, in Independence, Ida was the cherished daughter of Diana and Charles Rolls. Her life was a testament to love, care, and dedication, both to her family and the countless lives she touched as a caregiver.
She devoted herself to being a housewife and caregiver. Her home was filled with plants and flowers she so dearly loved to tend.
Ida was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Diana and Charles Rolls, her brother CW Rolls, and her sister Angela Ordeneaux. Their memories were her guiding stars, and she often spoke of them with fondness and love.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Curtis Bourgeois. Her legacy continues through her cherished daughter, Christa Holden, and her stepdaughters, Mitzy Lott and Nikki Jacks. Ida was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren, each one a testament to her enduring love and wisdom. Her legacy further extends to her eleven great-grandchildren.
While her physical presence will be missed, the love and memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
