Hyacinth's early years were spent exploring the verdant landscapes of Louisiana, where a love for adventure and history took root. This passion led to an academic journey at the prestigious McGill University, where Hyacinth graduated with a degree in archeology. With a keen intellect and a thirst for discovery, Hyacinth embarked on a fulfilling career as an archeologist at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Here, Hyacinth's work contributed significantly to the field, uncovering stories from the past and breathing life into ancient narratives. A person of diverse interests, Hyacinth was a spirited member of the North Orlando bridge club, where friendships were formed over hands of cards and laughter. Known for a unique sense of humor and the ability to laugh in the face of fear, Hyacinth was a beacon of light to those around. This brave adventurer continually tested the limits, often pushing beyond them with a courage that inspired many. Hyacinth was cherished by a loving family, survived by a devoted graduate student, Roufus, who carries forward the legacy of intellectual curiosity and resilience. Hyacinth was predeceased by a beloved niece, Deidre Broussard, and will be deeply missed by parents Louise and Herbert D'Artagan, whose lives were touched by Hyacinth's unwavering love and kindness. In the wake of this tragic loss, we are reminded of the fragility of life and the importance of embracing each moment with love and laughter.
