It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude that we announce the peaceful passing of William Seixas, who left this world on April 9, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on July 22, 1934, in the vibrant city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, Husband's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, dedication, and simplicity. William was the cherished son of Carlos Seixas and Leonor Minan, who instilled in him the values of hard work and unwavering integrity that he carried throughout his life. He was predeceased by his beloved grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly, whose memories he held dear and close to his heart. William's life was a tapestry woven with the love of family and the joy of simple pleasures. He shared 42 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Gloria, who stood by his side through life's triumphs and challenges. Together, they nurtured a family rooted in love and togetherness. His legacy lives on through his children, Analia, David, and Guillermo Seixas, who embody his spirit and values in their own lives. Husband was the proud grandfather to ten adoring grandchildren: Gillian, Brianna, Xena, Hayden, Gabriella, Israel, Diana, Sofia, Michael, and David. Each of them carries a piece of his heart and wisdom, especially his cherished words, "never look back, continue going forward." A man of simple pleasures, William found joy in the laughter and camaraderie of playing rummy with his family and grandchildren. He delighted in the melodies of music and the entertainment of "Let's Make a Deal" and "The Price Is Right," bringing a light-hearted spirit to his home. Though stern in demeanor, William had a deep appreciation for comedy and the lighter side of life. His steadfast work ethic and commitment to his family were testaments to his character, as he continuously instilled in his grandchildren the importance of hard work and perseverance. William’s life was celebrated in a private ceremony, honoring his wishes for a quiet, intimate farewell with those he held most dear. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the West Haven Funeral Home, Promise Land Church of God, Promise Land Women’s Ministry, and the YNHH Hospice Care Team for their compassionate care and support during this time. In remembering William, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, laughter, and the enduring bonds of family. His spirit will forever guide us, reminding us to cherish the simple joys and to always move forward with courage and hope. May he rest in eternal peace, forever in our hearts.
