It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Steve Denman on July 4, 2026, at his beloved home. Born on September 7, 1936, in the charming town of Piqua, Ohio, Steve was a man who lived a life of love, dedication, and quiet strength. Steve was the cherished son of Steve and Dodie Denman, who instilled in him the values of kindness and perseverance that he carried throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and his dear brother, Gary Denman. Together again, they are surely sharing stories and laughter in a place beyond. On June 20, 1964, Steve married the love of his life, Joanne, and they shared a remarkable 62 years of unwavering devotion and companionship. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children: sons Brian and Kevin, and daughter Jennifer, who have been a source of immense pride and joy for Steve. Though he leaves behind no grandchildren or great-grandchildren, his legacy lives on through the values and memories he passed down to his family. Steve was a devoted husband and father, always putting his family first and offering them unwavering support and guidance. He was known for his loving nature and the warmth he brought into every room he entered. His family and friends will forever cherish the moments they spent with him, remembering his gentle smile and loving spirit. While there will be no formal services held, those who wish to honor Steve's memory are encouraged to reflect on the love and kindness he shared with the world. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve’s memory to the Hospice of Dayton, an organization that provided comfort and care during his final days. Steve Denman’s life was a testament to the power of love and family. As we say goodbye, we carry forward his legacy of compassion, integrity, and love. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. add that he has donated his body to Wright State University School of Medicine
