October 15, 1950 — February 10, 2026

In loving memory, we celebrate the life of a remarkable man known to many as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Born on October 15, 1950, in Hanover, NH, he journeyed through life with a spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing him. On February 10, 2026, he peacefully departed from this world, surrounded by his beloved family at home, after a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Bob was a man of warmth and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand to friends, family, and the community. He was the cherished son of Raymond and Helene and was predeceased by his brother Larry. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 18 years, Penny; his son Jonathan and wife Shannon; his stepson Ryan and wife Stephanie; stepdaughter Heather and her husband Matt; and stepdaughter Erin with her partner John. He is also survived by his sisters, Jennette and Shirley, along with their families, including his nephews Justin and niece Heather. Bob's sister-in-law Gerry also holds him dearly in her heart. Bob was a proud grandfather to Colin, Haileigh, Charley, Cole, Macklin, Emit, and Kaydin, who, along with his partner Kenzy, brought immense joy to Bob's life. Though he had no great-grandchildren, his legacy of love and kindness will continue through his family. An alumnus of Hartford High School, class of 1968, Bob furthered his education at Eastcoast Aerotech. His career was marked by dedication and innovation, most notably with U-Haul in the greater Boston area. Bob's entrepreneurial spirit shone through his ventures, including Carries Cottages, Rt 16 Rental, James Limousine Service, and Pine Hill Storage. His work ethic and integrity left a lasting impact on all who worked with him. Bob's passions extended beyond his professional life. He was an avid enthusiast of motorcycles and sports cars, often found cruising the roads in his later years. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were infectious, leaving those around him inspired and uplifted. As an active member of Wolfeboro's local chapter of the International Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF), Bob's commitment to community service was unwavering. His presence at gatherings brought comfort and camaraderie to many. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on March 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Lord's Funeral Home, located at 23 Club Lane, Wolfeboro, NH 03894. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Mountain View Community and Cornerstone Hospice for their compassionate care during Bob's final days. In this time of remembrance, we honor Bob's life, cherishing the memories and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. His love, laughter, and kindness will continue to guide us, a testament to a life well-lived. Rest in peace, dear Bob, knowing that you are loved beyond measure and will be dearly missed.
