Curtis was the beloved son of Edward and Sherri Hairston, who preceded him in death, along with his dear brother, Donnie Hairston. Raised in a home where love and integrity were abundant, Curtis carried these values throughout his life, touching the hearts of everyone he encountered.
Curtis was a dedicated family man, a role he cherished above all others. On August 25, 2006, he married the love of his life, Marteisa, in a union that exemplified partnership and devotion. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, support, and unconditional love. Curtis found immense joy and pride in his children, JaiMeika, Drea, and Tyvevio, teaching them the beauty of compassion and the strength of character. His legacy continues through his five cherished grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and whose lives are a testament to his gentle guidance and unwavering love.
Family was the cornerstone of Curtis's life, and he found fulfillment in every moment spent with them, whether it was offering words of wisdom or sharing in the simple pleasures of daily life. Curtis had an incredible ability to make those around him feel valued and understood, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Curtis was also a man of faith, and his spirituality was a guiding light in his life. He was a dedicated member of the Greater United Apostolic Church community, where he spent many hours in fellowship, offering his time and talents generously.
A celebration of Curtis's life will be held on April 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Greater United Apostolic Church, located at 924 N Main St. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Curtis are invited to join in honoring his memory and the remarkable legacy he leaves behind.
