In Loving Memory

Hunter Lee Edleston
May 9, 2000 — May 4, 2026
Hunter Lee Edleston, a beloved son, husband, brother, and friend, left this world far too soon on May 4, 2026, just shy of his 26th birthday. Born on May 9, 2000, in the picturesque town of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Hunter lived a life full of love, laughter, and passion for the great outdoors.
Hunter's journey began under the nurturing care of his parents, Tommie and Stephanie Edleston, who instilled in him the values of kindness, integrity, and a love for nature. From a young age, Hunter was drawn to the beauty of the world around him, spending countless hours fishing and deer hunting in the lush landscapes of Mississippi. His love for the outdoors was not just a hobby but a way of life that brought him peace and joy.
In 2017, Hunter found his soulmate in Ashley, and the two embarked on a beautiful journey together, united in marriage for nine wonderful years. The love they shared was a testament to their deep connection and understanding, a bond that was admired by all who knew them.
Hunter's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ashley Edleston; his loving parents, Tommie and Stephanie Edleston; his grandfather, James Vines, who, along with Dorthy, shared a special bond with him; and his uncle Jamie Vines and aunt Tanis Miller, whose home was always open to him. Hunter's siblings, Jessica Edleston (Eddie), Nicole Edleston, Tommie Edleston (Dana), Tony Edleston, and Ty Edleston (Kerri), along with numerous nieces and nephews, were his constant companions, sharing in countless adventures and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Hunter's presence was a blessing to everyone around him. His laughter was infectious, and his spirit was as vibrant as the Mississippi sunsets he so often admired. His legacy is one of love, adventure, and a deep respect for the world around him.
The Edleston family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Hunter's life at a service held at Glenwood Funeral Home. Though he has left this earthly realm, Hunter's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, a guiding force as constant as the rivers he loved to fish.
In honoring Hunter's memory, let us all remember to cherish the simple joys of life, embrace the beauty of nature, and hold our loved ones close, just as he did. May his soul find eternal peace in the great outdoors he so dearly loved.
