Hung's early years in Taiwan were a testament to his resilience and love for learning. Hung's journey led him to the United States, where he built a loving home filled with laughter and warmth alongside his beloved wife, who stood by his side for 65 remarkable years.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Hung is survived by his cherished wife, four children, and nine grandchildren, all of whom were his greatest pride and joy. His family was the center of his universe, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments, always offering them unconditional love and support.
Hung's kind spirit and gentle demeanor were complemented by his exceptional ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He was a beacon of kindness and humility, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement to those in need. His legacy of empathy and compassion will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends for generations to come.
To celebrate the life of Hung Chan Tsai, a service will be held on September 27, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the Rose Hill - Hua Yuan - Hall of Grace, located at 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, CA 90601. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Hung's memory and share in the joy of the life he lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Hung's lifelong commitment to helping others and making the world a better place.
