Chris's journey through life was marked by dedication, love, and an enduring commitment to his family, friends, and community. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1987, where he held the rank of Shopkeeper 2nd Class. After his honorable discharge, Chris pursued a career as a contractor in the construction business. His work was characterized by integrity and a meticulous attention to detail, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. A skilled craftsman, Chris was particularly passionate about woodworking, a hobby that allowed him to express his creativity and bring joy to those around him. His handcrafted pieces, treasured by many, will serve as lasting reminders of his artistic talent and dedication. Chris's greatest pride and joy was his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Maureen, who stood by his side through life's trials and triumphs, and his dear daughter, NAME Porter, who carries forward his legacy of kindness and commitment to others. He was a devoted, kind, and loving husband and father, whose gentle spirit and unwavering support will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Known for his warm smile and generous heart, Chris was a beacon of love and compassion. His genuine care for others and his ability to make everyone feel valued and cherished were traits that endeared him to many. Whether spending time with family, sharing a laugh with friends, or offering a helping hand to those in need, Chris's presence was a gift to everyone he encountered. In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Chris's life and legacy. Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the profound impact he made on our lives and the countless beautiful memories he leaves behind. As we say goodbye, let us remember Chris Harris not only for the roles he played as a husband, father, naval veteran, and craftsman but for the love and light he brought into our lives.
