In loving memory, we honor the life of Hortensia R. Galindo, who peacefully departed from this world on May 1, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her cherished family. Born on March 5, 1932, to Leonardo Reyes and Margarita Ramon, Hortensia's journey through life was marked by an unwavering devotion to those she loved and an unyielding spirit of kindness and generosity. Hortensia's life was a tapestry woven with the love of her family and the beauty of nature. She found immense joy in tending to her garden, where her flowers bloomed as brightly as the warmth she shared with everyone she encountered. Her culinary skills were unparalleled, and her cakes and pastries were not just a testament to her talent but also a symbol of her love, shared generously with friends and family. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Hortensia's legacy lives on in the hearts of her surviving sons, Hector and Kenneth Galindo, and her beloved daughter-in-law, Zelenny. Her grandchildren, Angela, Vincent, and Alexis, along with her five grandchildren in total, were constant sources of pride and joy. Her two great-grandchildren were the newest blossoms in her family garden, and she cherished every moment with them. Preceded in death by her parents, Leonardo and Margarita, her loving husband Hector, and her son Roberto, Hortensia's spirit remains indelibly etched in the hearts of those who knew her. Her ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued was a gift that endeared her to countless lives, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her. A celebration of Hortensia's life will be held on May 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM at La Cantera Resort and Spa - San Augustine, located at 16641 La Cantera Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78256.
