Holly Stripling, born December 24, 1975, in Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on July 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 50 years old. Holly's life was a testament to compassion, dedication, and an unwavering love for her family and community.
Holly was the cherished daughter of Hobby Stripling, Jr. and Barbara Eschmann. She was predeceased by her beloved grandparents, Martha and Jim McGarity, and Joanne and Hobby Stripling, Sr. Holly is survived by her devoted wife of five years, Christine Hofnagel, and her treasured children, Jacob, Elle, and Raegan. She also leaves behind her brother Tripp Stripling and his wife Ronda, her sister Lynn Stripling and her wife Miranda, and her adored nieces and nephews, Dalton, Toby, Kaitlyn, Tess, Willam, and CJ.
Holly's academic journey led her to Hillsborough Community College, where she earned a degree in Nuclear Medicine. Her professional life was marked by a decade of dedicated service in the clinical field of Nuclear Medicine before she transitioned to a role at Eli Lilly. There, she made significant contributions in the research and development department, focusing on neuroscience with a particular passion for Alzheimer's research. Her work was not just a career but a calling, and she was deeply respected by her colleagues and peers.
Beyond her professional achievements, Holly was an artist at heart. She found joy in all things related to art, a passion that she lovingly shared with her children. Her creativity was boundless, and her home was a testament to her artistic spirit. Holly's greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
A service to celebrate Holly's life will be held on July 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Rainey Funeral Home, located at 111 24th Avenue, Cordele, GA 31015. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Research Association, reflecting Holly's enduring commitment to finding a cure for the disease she worked so passionately to understand.
Holly's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
